Better Homes introduces novel real estate retailing concept

New customer-friendly boutiques attract high footfall

Dubai, UAE’s leading realtor Better Homes recently launched a new retail outlet concept at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (DIECC) and in Sheikh Zayed Road near interchange four, pioneering a new walk-in boutique environment in the Middle East real estate market.

TheCommenting on the launch of the customer-focused innovative outlet, Ryan Mahoney, Managing Director of Better Homes explained: “Typically, real estate offices present a mundane ambience with half its staff engaged in long, drawn-out telephone conversations while the other half peering conscientiously into their PCs. In order to provide a more responsive and welcoming environment for customers, we have created a retail concept with attractive interiors for walk-in customers, where visitors can lounge on comfortable chairs and enjoy a beverage while making general or specific enquiries about the local real estate market. Comprehensive information about the property market is presented in an appealing visual format and our customers are finding it extremely easy to check out the relevant facts.”

Mahoney explained that visitors who were not currently looking to buy property but were still keen to learn about upcoming developments for future purposes, felt at ease to ask basic questions and pick up useful literature to read later.

“Within a short span of time, the boutique outlets at DIECC and Sheikh Zayed Road have witnessed remarkable footfall. The new concept is proving a hit with customers and this month (February), we are set to launch two more boutiques - one in Dubai Marina and the other in City Tower 1. Plans are afoot to open several such outlets regionally and internationally this year,” said Mahoney.

The novel walk-in outlet features a wall library stacked with visually stunning coffee-book style brochures that provide information on the various property developments. A colossal map of Dubai details the locations of various properties, while a large-screen LCD TV showing architect-drawn models of various construction developments enables customers to visualise the future real estate landscape of Dubai.
