Salalah is the capital of Dhofar 1000 kms (approx 1 hr by plane) from Muscat, overlooked by the gracious Dhofar mountains and enjoying the crystal blue waters of the Arabian Sea. Just 20 kms from the airport, east of the main town, is the new Salalah Beach resort. The development itself is spread across 15.6 million square meters, optimising 8.2km of stunning palm fringed beach front and beautiful white sands.
