There were no direct price comparisons available in Motorcity as no other commercial project had been launched in the zone during this period. As Motorcity was a new zone, the freehold status and resale guidelines had not been defined and the project did not offer finance options at the launch.

Our Research and Analysis

A comprehensive competitor and SWOT analysis was conducted for the project. A defined sales forecast was compiled subject to final pricing, payment plan approval, and advertising and marketing initiatives. Ongoing marketing performance and sales performance of the project was also monitored and assessed.

Our Plan

An attractive discount policy for investors was recommended and the developer was advised to participate in events and exhibitions related to the motor industry. A comprehensive marketing and advertising campaign was developed to reach out to target buyers. The theme for the campaign was based on the project’s location and the fact that it offered direct access to the Autodrome race track.

The Result

39% of all Daytona House stock and an amazing 93% of Detroit House sold out after a relatively short period, exceeding all sales targets estimations.
