Aside from this, the Dubailand district also looks at several mixed-use projects. Dubai Silicon Oasis, a technology park and master planned community comprising office towers, R&D and industrial zones, educational institutions, apartments and villas, hotels, healthcare, and a range of lifestyle facilities. The Dubai Investment Park, which is a major industrial, business, residential and recreational development falls under this district. There is also the IMPZ (International Media Production Zone), a unique cluster environment for media production companies.
