About Fujairah

Previously Fujairah was the part of Sharjah. Later it became an independent emirate in 1952. This emirate possesses a very unique geographical position in UAE. It is the only state that is located along the Gulf of Oman. The emirate has a total area around 1,300 square kilometers. Contrasting other UAE emirates, Fujairah has lesser desert area and most of the land is covered with mountains and plains. Major occupations that are crucial for its economy are fishing and agriculture. Hajar Mountain’s rainwater irrigates its land and makes it ideal for farming. 

Fujairah is world’s famous for its beautiful stunning beaches and resorts. This emirate conserved its old patterns of fishing and mending nets and fishing man still use palm frond canoes (Sasha). Such things made beaches of this emirate beautiful and different from other emirates like Abu Dhabi or Dubai. It has untouched natural beauty and less deteriorated from modern lifestyle of city. It is such a beautiful state that attracts tourists and holiday makers to visit this place. Famous worth seeing places include Fujairah Port, Bidya Mosque, spice souks and pottery stalls. Moreover, it also has beautiful archeological sites in mountains and caves. 

Fujairah is known as Jewel of Arabia due to its extravagant views of mountains; sun kissed sandy beaches and lush green landscapes. The property market of Fujairah is showing continuous growth and progress in both sectors i.e. residential and commercial sectors.
