Umm Al Quwain the second smallest emirate located in north of UAE. It is bordered with Sharjah and Ajman to the south and Ras Al Khaimah to its north. The total land area is around 750 to 800 square kilometers. The name Umm Al Qaiwain is an Arabic name that means “Mother of the Two Powers. Previously it was an independent state ruled by a Mulla family.
