The new home of commercial real estate
Jumeirah Beach Residence – also known as JBR – is a part of Dubai Marina and one of the best places in Dubai for families to live. What’s not to love any time of the year? Blue skies, azure waters, white sandy beaches, swaying palms, high-rises and spectacular vistas. JBR is not only a self-contained development, but it also provides a cosmopolitan life for residents and visitors alike. Luxe self-contained beachfront community offers residents crystal clear waters and glitzy high-rises – striking backdrops for just about everything that happens here. JBR runs the entire 1.7 kilometre length of The Walk, a popular beachside boulevard packed with the beach, restaurants, cafés and boutiques. Here, leisurely days drift into busy nights. No matter how many senses you have, JBR stimulates them all. Spinning with energy, the outdoors is embraced like the indoors here.
While it’s well known for its beachfront living, cobbled roads, and expensive sports cars lined up outside five-star hotels, the many convenient amenities make JBR perfect for family life. With more than 350 retail stores and restaurants, coffee shops, medical centres, daycare centres, secure playground areas, fitness clubs, beauty salons, banks and cinemas – all in one scenic place – it’s no wonder JBR is a sought-after area. It’s also great for those who like walking on the beach, swimming, sunbathing and soaking up luxurious surroundings and amenities at the same time.
Look forward to.
Bluewaters, an upcoming project on JBR, will feature the much-anticipated Ain Dubai, the world’s tallest Ferris Wheel standing at 210 meters. Once complete, this is expected to attract more than three million visitors a year.
Due to its status as an iconic and exclusive residential island, most of the developments are built with great quality finishes and facilities, including state-of- the-art gyms, advantage of the fantastic facilities available at a number of renowned hotels on their doorstep, like Ritz Carlton Hotel Dubai, Sheraton Jumeirah and Hilton Jumeirah. These communities offer a range of accommodation types, including studios, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments, lofts, terrace apartments, duplexes and penthouses. Apartments are available in different sizes, but floor plans start at 717 sq. ft. and go up to 6,200 sq. ft., on average.
The built-in infrastructure is designed to meet all the needs of a family. The beach offers a fun day out every weekend, with sunbathing, volleyball and a number of watersports, such as paddle boarding and jet skiing. A wide variety of shops are close at hand along The Walk and the open-air Beachfront Mall offers many dining options, a jogging track, kids’ playgrounds and an outdoor cinema.
Meet the neighbours.

"Living by the beach is what first attracted us to JBR, as well as being near to friends in Dubai Marina. There’s always plenty to do here, from paddle boarding to watching films in the outdoor cinema, or simply catching up with friends over a coffee – with a nice view guaranteed. Since the opening of Beachfront Mall, we’re spoilt for choice with cafés and restaurants – even more so than before. The shopping along The Walk is great, and the hotels have fantastic spas, beach resorts and dining. The only downside is the amount of traffic that passes through – but that just goes to show how popular it is here."
