Driving around Palm Jumeirah is easy, with ample signposts and directions to the fronds branching out from the trunk. It is not currently linked to Dubai Metro on the mainland although there are plans to connect to Dubai Internet City Metro station in the future. While vacant RTA taxis can be hard to find at times, many private taxis are present at the hotels, spas and beach resorts. Water taxis are a quick way to access the fronds and Crescent, and routes include Al Sufouh Road to Sofitel Dubai, or Dubai Marina to the One & Only Resort.
