Described as being one of the greatest movies of all time, this masterpiece tells a story of love and hope onboard a canal barge. If you cannot speak French then do not worry, the film will have English subtitles so everyone can enjoy this film.  The movie is being shown in the independent arthouse cinema, Cinema Akil for just a few days.

Put your bravery to the test at  the Dubai Ice Warrior Challenge

 

 

Are you ready to brave the Ice Warrior ChallengeIce Warrior Challenge and fight the tough and chilly assault course at Ski Dubai? Fight through sub-zero temperatures and 24 freezing obstacles including monkey bars, tyre runs and net crawls, in order to claim your victory. This challenge is open to 16-60 year olds, who can choose between three categories; elite, fun, and women only. All proceeds from the race go to a charity for disadvantaged children.

Feel the adrenaline at Dubai Women’s Cycling Challenge 

Calling all ladies to sign up for this exhilarating event. Whether you are an expert cyclist, or just a beginner, this fun race takes riders through the stunning scenery of Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve. Cyclists can choose between 20km, 50k and 70km distances. Keep your eye out and you might get to catch a glimpse of some Arabian Oryx.
